The video she shared was an episode from a YouTube series called On the Table in which a panel discuss the topic of vaccination. At one point, presenter Tomi Arayomi says: “I don’t understand vaccines medically, but I’ve always been a little bit of a sceptic of them.”

Arayomi is a senior leader with Light London Church. In the video he not only questions the legitimacy of the COVID-19 vaccination, he seems sceptical of climate change and accuses China of spreading COVID-19. Twitter users dug deeper into the video and discovered that Arayomi also shared anti-trans opinions resulting in Wright facing criticism on two fronts.

Letitia Wright anti-vax tweetsDeciding that she was being cancelled rather than educated she wrote, “If you don’t conform to popular opinions. but ask questions and think for yourself….you get cancelled.” Wright did eventually delete the tweet.

Later Wright posted “My intention was not to hurt anyone, my ONLY intention of posting the video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies…Nothing else.”

The following day, Saturday 5 December, Wright’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were deleted. The video in question has been removed from YouTube for violating its terms of service.
